An interaction program on the mandatory use of helmets by road users concluded successfully today with a strong commitment from ride-sharing companies to enforce the implementation of double helmet use for both riders and passengers.

The program brought together intellectuals and professionals from diverse sectors, who shared their views and emphasized the importance of safe and standard helmet use as a crucial measure to prevent road fatalities, head injuries, and brain trauma.

Speakers highlighted that enforcing helmet standards is a collective responsibility and urged ride-sharing companies to take the lead in promoting safety among their users.

The event was organized with the support of NASA Foundation, which has been continuously working to raise road safety awareness across Nepal to reduce traffic crashes and premature deaths.
