About NASA Foundation

The NASA Foundation is the social responsibility and training wing of the Nepal Automobiles’ Association (NASA), Nepal’s only government-recognized mobility and motorsports body. Committed to building a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future, the Foundation promotes road safety, youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, and inclusive mobility through awareness campaigns, technical training, and community outreach programs. From organizing workshops in schools and colleges to providing skill-based training for drivers, marshals, and technicians, we aim to reduce traffic accidents, create responsible road users, and empower communities across Nepal. The Foundation also advocates for equal access to transportation for women, children, and persons with disabilities, while promoting eco-friendly practices and sustainable mobility solutions. By working closely with national and international partners, we strive to foster long-term change in Nepal’s mobility culture through education, innovation, and collaboration.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a Nepal where mobility becomes a pathway to empowerment, equality, and sustainable growth. We imagine a future where every journey whether in a crowded city street or a remote village road is safe, secure, and accessible for all. In this vision, road accidents are reduced because every driver, rider, and pedestrian has the knowledge, skills, and awareness to act responsibly.

We believe that young people hold the key to shaping this future, and through education and empowerment, they will lead the movement for safer roads, greener transport, and responsible mobility. We envision cities and communities that embrace eco-friendly solutions, reduce pollution, and protect Nepal’s natural environment while promoting innovation in green mobility.

Equally important, our vision includes a society where no one is left behind where women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities enjoy the same freedom of movement, dignity, and opportunity as everyone else. We strive for a Nepal that not only prioritizes road safety and sustainability within its borders but also stands as a regional model of innovation and leadership in inclusive and sustainable transport systems.

In short, we see mobility as more than transportation it is a right, a responsibility, and a foundation for building a safer, greener, and more inclusive Nepal for generations to come.
